We are the UK’s leading bowel cancer research charity. We are determined to save lives and improve the quality of life for all those affected by bowel cancer.

Every 15 minutes in the UK someone is diagnosed with bowel cancer. That’s nearly 42,000 people every year.

Bowel cancer is the second biggest cancer killer in the UK. However it shouldn’t be because it is preventable, treatable and curable, especially if diagnosed early. 98% of people diagnosed at the earliest stage will survive bowel cancer. However this drops significantly as the disease develops. Early diagnosis really does save lives.

The major advances in saving lives from bowel cancer in the past 20 years have all come through research. Through strategic investment in targeted research, we will deliver improvements in bowel cancer survival in our lifetime.

Our research aims to increase the number of people surviving bowel cancer within five years of diagnosis from 50% to 75% by 2025.

Bowel Cancer UK is determined to save lives from bowel cancer but we can’t do this without you. By leaving gift in your Will you will help fund vital research and lifesaving work to stop bowel cancer.
