Every hour another person in the UK goes blind. Guide Dogs is here to make sure that when someone loses their sight, they don’t also lose their freedom.

Guide dogs are at the heart of what we do, but as well as breeding and training life-changing guide dogs, we also continue to develop new services such as My Guide and buddy dogs, so that we can support everyone with sight loss.

Gifts in Wills are vital to Guide Dogs. Without them we couldn’t train all our incredible guide dogs, provide the services that give children and young people the skills they need to live independently, and continue to defend the rights of thousands of people living with sight loss across the country.

Guide Dogs supporter Karen recently let us know she had included Guide Dogs in her Will: “I hope by more people leaving gifts to you that blind people will never have to feel alone – you do a remarkable job and the independence it allows people to retain is invaluable; with the added bonus of a loyal loving companion with a wet nose and waggy tail!
