Dimbleby Cancer Care is a charity dedicated to the support and care of people affected by cancer. It provides information, financial advice, counselling and psychological care, support groups and complementary therapies. People can now survive cancer for much longer, yet life after treatment can still pose problems. Dimbleby Cancer Care's Research Fund was established to meet these challenges, and makes available up to £500,000 each year for senior specialists throughout the UK to test and improve existing support services; improve psychosocial care for patients and their families; and to ensure better continuity of care for all those affected by cancer.
