Remember A Charity Week, from 11-17 September, called on the public to ‘Have Your Say on the World You Want to Pass On’, inspiring people to leave a gift in their Will.
Remember A Charity Week launched on Monday 11 September with a dedicated legacy radio station travelling the country to engage the public in gifts in Wills.
The campaign aimed to inspire legacy giving by getting people talking about what they would like to pass on to future generations, with the radio station visiting Spitalfields Market in London, The Square in Bournemouth, The Forum in Norwich, Church Street in Liverpool, and Castle Street in Edinburgh.
Content was developed to appeal to the baby boomer generation and will feature interviews with charities, supporters and celebrities including Twiggy, Wilko Johnson and Keith Skues, discussion shows, music from the 60s and on air discussions with the public.
During Remember A Charity Week, the campaign urged the public to ‘have your say on the world you want to pass on.’ Charities and supporters were invited to record their vision for future generations and share it on social media using #HaveYourSay, inspiring people to pass on something even more special – a gift in their Will.
