Citizens Advice Bureau

The Citizens Advice service helps people to resolve their problems. As the UK’s largest advice provider we are equipped to deal with any issue, from anyone, spanning debt and employment to consumer and housing plus everything in between. In the last year alone, the Citizens Advice service helped 2 million people with 6.9 million problems. But we’re not just here for times of crisis – we also use clients’ stories anonymously to campaign for policy changes that benefit the population as a whole.

Every Citizens Advice Bureau (CAB) is a registered charity. We rely on the support of the public to ensure that we’re ready with advice when we’re needed. Right now, the demand for our services is greater than ever. With a CAB in the community everyone has somewhere to turn – in fact two in every five people have used a CAB at some point in their lives.

The Citizens Advice Bureau and Remember A Charity are working together to raise awareness of the importance of charitable giving in Wills. The organisations are also working to develop and pilot a range of training, guidance and fundraising materials that are suitable for any charity, whatever its circumstances.
