Who we are
Remember A Charity is a consortium of over 140 registered charities. Our aim is to do what no single charity has ever been able to achieve on its own – to change the perceptions and perspectives of the nation towards charitable legacies. Our ultimate goal is to encourage more people to think about leaving charitable gifts when a writing a will, so that over time we can make legacy giving a social norm.
Since we were formed in 2000, we have created several campaigns. Our most recent campaign, the Rocky Taylor campaign, used the cost-effective medium of social media to spread the legacy message. Prior to this, we successfully used targeted television and radio advertising, designed to change the way people think about their will by using humour to open up the subject of legacy giving.
All of the work we’ve achieved so far has helped us towards reaching our goal, but there is still more to do, as our aim is a challenging one. We just need your help to achieve it.
