Our first steps. Our first words. Our first spelling test. It’s the human condition to measure against others.
Charities are no different. A Christmas appeal. A latest ad campaign. We measure what works.
But imagine if we could measure what we don’t know.
Imagine measuring how many people might have left a gift to their favourite charity – if only they’d been asked.
Of course, we can’t. And that’s the point.
Most charities aren’t noisy enough about legacies. Most solicitors and Will-writers don’t talk about charity to their client. Trawl online and you’ll notice a distinct lack of advice about charitable legacies.
In the past five years alone, the public has viewed more than a million pages on Remember A Charity’s website.
In five short years, we’ve created new links with hundreds of solicitors, Will-writers, financial advisors and leading high-street names such as Co-operative Legal Services, RBS, NatWest and Barclays Wealth.
