Dementia UK, 7th Floor, One Aldgate, London, EC3N 1RE
Dementia is the biggest health crisis facing us today. There are nearly one million people living with dementia in the UK, of which about two thirds are diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease.
Dementia UK provides specialist dementia nurses for families going through the toughest of times, giving them the strength and support they need to carry on.
When things get challenging or difficult for people with dementia and their families, our specialist dementia Admiral Nurses work alongside them, giving them the one-to-one support, expert guidance and practical solutions people need to face dementia with more confidence and less fear.
We believe that everyone who needs the support of a specialist dementia nurse should get one, and we’re working hard to increase the number of Admiral Nurses across the UK. We receive no government funding and rely on voluntary donations, including from people who leave us gifts in their Wills.
By leaving a gift in your Will to Dementia UK, you can help ensure that a specialist Admiral Nurse will be there to support families living with all types of dementia, including Alzheimer’s.
