Here for Cats’ aim is to build a new exciting facility in Surrey centred around the rescue, rehabilitation and homing of cats but also providing a resource for the benefit of the whole community.
Legacies will help create a self-funded organisation that provides not just for today, but for the future.
The centre will allow us to develop our work promoting responsible pet ownership, providing educational and community programmes to promote mutual well-being, understanding, and respect between people and animals, and include activities relevant to all.
• Rehoming centre and boarding cattery
• A retirement village for elderly and disabled cats to live in whilst interacting with visitors, and chalets and a rehabilitation area for feral cats
• Indoor areas for educational facilities and a seasonal programme of public events, and space to rent to local artists, crafts and charities. • A memory garden, pet cemetery, and outdoor space for picnicking and events
The centre aims to work with other charities and the community as a whole.
We aim to involve all age groups and those with special needs including physical and mental disabilities and life changing illnesses to create a facility with positive benefits for all.
