The Dellow Centre, 82 Wentworth Street, London, E1 7SA

Established in 1860, Providence Row tackles the root causes of homelessness in East London, helping people get off, and stay off, the streets. Located in the London Borough of Tower Hamlets we work with vulnerable people who are often excluded from mainstream services, including those struggling with substance misuse and mental health issues.

We’re a one-stop shop of advisory, recovery and training opportunities for those who need it most, supporting more than 1400 people a year and working closely with other services and the local community to ensure our centre is a place of positive change.

Providence Row provides access to opportunities that can create a life away from the streets including:

  • A Resource Centre for rough sleepers, with breakfast, showers, a c/o address and access to IT
  • Advice and Support for people who are homeless or at risk of homelessness including outreach at the Royal London Hospital
  • Recovery and Progression for people whose mental health, substance misuse issues and lack of skills and confidence are affecting their ability to get into accommodation
  • Trainee Schemes to help people with complex needs to move into regular learning, volunteering or work.

Legacies help us ensure more people find a safe and comfortable home, not just a place to sleep.
