Support Dog is a charity committed to improving the lives of children and adults affected by autism, epilepsy and physical disability. We train and provide specialist assistance dogs to achieve this.

Our work is truly life changing. Our amazing dogs provide a 100% reliable life-saving warning in advance of epileptic seizures. They help children with autism be safe and feel confident and able to access the outside world. They provide independence and safety to those with a wide range of physical disabilities, enabling them to live a more active life.

Support dogs come from a wide range of sources including rescue centres, meaning that often the life of the dog is also transformed as well as that of our clients.

We are reliant entirely on voluntary donations and we receive over 4000 requests from families in need each year. We desperately need to grow so we can better meet this overwhelming demand and help more families and individuals in the future.

One in every four support dog partnerships have been trained thanks solely to the wonderful donations left to the charity by individuals in their will. This life changing support has been vital to our charity for over 25 years.
