Receiving a breast cancer diagnosis and subsequent treatment is incredibly stressful.

Side effects such as insomnia, fatigue, memory changes, hair loss, medically induced menopause, weight loss/gain and self-blame, along with worries concerning death, family finances and relationships, can be overwhelming.

An individual’s physical, emotional and mental health is often adversely affected leading to depression, high anxiety and feelings of hopelessness, loneliness and low self-esteem as well as post-traumatic stress (PTSD) after treatment.

Sadly, nearly half of those diagnosed with breast cancer say they received no support or advice about how to manage their well-being and mental health or that of their loved ones during their cancer journey.

Your support will enable us to ensure nobody faces breast cancer alone as well as fund vital research into secondary breast cancer and the importance of early detection and diagnosis.
