This year’s Remember A Charity Week was from 9 to 15 September 2019.
Remember A Charity Week is an opportunity for charities to come together and encourage more people to consider leaving gifts in Wills, after taking care of family and loved ones.
This year, we celebrated our 10th Remember A Charity Week, bringing together 200 charities to help challenge common misconceptions around legacy giving.
Over the last 10 years the campaign has continued to raise awareness amongst the public of the option to leave a charitable gift in their Will. Our challenge now is to address the existing perceived barriers and encourage the public to consider gifts in Wills as something for them.
This year we created a 70s-inspired series of films, using nostalgic humour to tackle myths associated with legacy giving. The content reflected an era that our audience remembers fondly, whilst inviting them to ‘Pass on something wonderful’ by leaving a gift in their Will.
