The Prince’s Trust believes that every young person should have the chance to succeed.
We help 11 to 30 year-olds who are unemployed or struggling at school to transform their lives.
Right now, thousands of young people in the UK are facing struggles that can seem insurmountable. Some are homeless or leaving care. Others have been excluded from school, are in trouble with the law, or are battling mental health issues.
We believe every young person deserves a chance. So we give them the practical, emotional and financial support they need. With the support of The Prince’s Trust, they grow in confidence and stabilise their lives. They learn to recognise their strengths, build key skills and develop the motivation they need to overcome obstacles and achieve. That’s why three in four young people who complete a Prince’s Trust course move into jobs, education or training.
The Trust has returned £1.4 billion in value to society through our help for disadvantaged young people over the last ten years alone.
Every gift we receive, big or small, is important and gratefully received. A gift in your Will is perhaps the most significant way you can help vulnerable young people. It’s often the most valuable gift you’ll give to a charity, and – because it’s not subject to inheritance tax – it can be cost effective too.
So, once you have taken care of those closest to you, please consider remembering The Prince’s Trust. You Will be leaving an incredible legacy – ensuring that more vulnerable young people get the support they need to make something of themselves.
