Value of charitable legacies up by one per cent

The value of legacies left to charities has risen almost 1 per cent in the 12 months to March 2011, according to Legacy Foresight. The figures show a rise in monetary bequests, with legacy income up by almost £8m from the year to March 2010. Research also shows an increase in the number of bequests, with most of the growth in bequests of specific sums of money. For further information read the full report from Third Sector.
