Vision - A world where all animals live their lives free from captivity, harm and exploitation.

Freedom for Animals began as the Captive Animals' Protection Society in 1957 and is one of the UK’s longest-running charities working to protect animals.

Through a combination of undercover investigations, research, campaigns, grassroots activism, political lobbying and education, our work for animals focuses on ending the captivity of animals in live animal displays, including zoos, aquariums, mobile zoos and circuses.

Legacies fund some of our most important work - from major investigations to lobbying for lasting change. Gifts in Wills make it possible for us to keep fighting for animals, now and into the future.
