We’re Hft. A national charity supporting more than 2,200 learning disabled adults in England and Wales.

With the right care, support, and encouragement, we believe that everyone with a learning disability can find enjoyment, comfort and satisfaction in their lives.

Proudly established in 1962, by a group of visionary parents, we’re creating a future where learning disabled people can live their life their way.

We help our colleagues to develop the specialist skills and expertise needed to provide the kind of support we believe in. And we try to make sure they always have time to build trusted, caring relationships with the people and families they support.

Our services include:

We provide support that means learning disabled people can experience life to the full. From enjoyment, satisfaction, and improved health to finding meaningful friendships and paid employment. This support varies from a few hours a week to 24 hours a day.
