Mind Body EDS

Mind Body EDS is dedicated to improving the lives of people affected by Ehlers-Danlos syndromes (EDS) and Hypermobility Spectrum Disorders (HSD). We believe that no one’s health outcome should be determined or limited by their personal means.

As the only UK charity providing direct financial grants to those living with EDS and HSD, we see first-hand the challenges patients face in accessing crucial medical, therapeutic, and supportive care. Our work bridges the gap between clinical need and available resources, helping reduce health inequalities and improve quality of life.

Alongside financial support, we are dedicated to raising awareness and advancing education within the healthcare community, especially at medical schools. Through advocating to the doctors of our tomorrow, we aim to promote earlier recognition, accurate diagnosis, and evidence-based management of EDS and HSD across all medical disciplines.

Our vision is for a world where early diagnosis, equitable care, and greater understanding prevent disabling or life-threatening complications – enabling everyone with EDS and HSD to live a safe, full, and independent life.
