Seescape help people living in Fife living with Visual Impairments.
For many of our clients, losing your sight can be compounded with a range of other factors – aging, dementia, fear of not coping on your own, loss of independence and general decline in health and wellbeing.
We support people living with visual impairment to live safely and independently through people-focused services, delivered at home, in the community, and via digital platforms.
Our services include:
• Sight Support & Rehabilitation which helps clients develop the skills and techniques to live, work and travel independently.
• Health and Wellbeing: 1;1 tailored and group exercise classes to increase strength, mobility and achieve personal goals to improve both physical and mental wellbeing.
• Social groups and clubs: Our 5 social groups meet throughout Fife for people who want to get out into the community and meet and socialise with peers. These help clients from being socially isolated and lonely, are fun and full of laughter.
• Befriending: Forging partnerships that combat loneliness and promote independence through conversation and shared experiences.
• Accessible Technology information and advice: Focusing on promoting independence and staying connected with local community and family/friends.
