Demand for our tailored holistic support has risen by 239% in the last four years.
Young people are not just facing a crisis, but are facing many crises, but we have 45 years' worth of experience in creating spaces to help them overcome these crises.
The Change Foundation was born out of the 1981 Brixton Uprisings, where anger, frustration, and unheard voices boiled over. A new youth cricket team arose, created by a university cricketer who decided to include rather than exclude, and provided a space where young people felt seen, empowered, and respected.
Since then, we have worked with over 255,000 young people around the world and across the UK. These young people often face challenges related to disability, crime, violence, childhood trauma, lack of skills, and mental health challenges. Our programmes combine sport, mentoring, and lived-experience coaching to give them tools to transform their own lives.
Many of the next generation are understandably worried about their future, but our Social Change Coaches prove that better lives are not only possible but are in reach. By listening, understanding, and responding, we help them to imagine new futures, which not only transform their lives, but everyone's around them too.
Demand for our tailored, holistic services has risen by 259%. A gift in your will ensures that we can continue to use the power of sport to bring opportunity, happiness, and an alternative future to every young person who needs our help.
