What's your legacy?
Everyone leaves a legacy - but what's yours? Is it the way you make people laugh, the causes you champion, or the values you've quietly passed on to the people you love?
How will you be remembered?
Legacy doesn't have to be a grand gesture. It's not about fame or fortune.
It’s found in the everyday acts that shape who we are and it's our chance to leave the world that little bit better for the generations who come after us.
This Remember A Charity Week, we're encouraging people across the UK to reflect on their legacy.
We'd love for you to take a moment to reflect on the people, passions and causes that matter most to you, and share your story using #WhatsMyLegacy.
Keeping a memory alive
Supporting the campaign, actor and author Sherrie Hewson says:
“For me, legacy isn't about what we leave behind for ourselves, it's about the impact we have on others. It's about keeping alive the memory of the people we love and supporting the causes that matter to us."
Sherrie is not only a beloved presence on our screens. The Benidorm and Coronation Street actor has raised thousands of pounds for cancer charities after losing her brother to a glioblastoma brain tumour.
